Cory Vernon
Nice to meet you. I’m Bishop Rowley.
Bishop Rowley was called as bishop of the Payson YSA ward in May of 2023. Prior to that, he served as first and second counselor to Bishop Christensen. He and his wife, Georgette, met while serving their missions in the Michigan Lansing Mission. They are the parents of 5 children (2 boys and 3 girls), have a daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law and five of the cutest grandchildren you have ever seen.
I am currently serving as the 2nd Counselor in the Payson YSA Ward’s Bishopric. I have been in the ward since Oct 2022; I am 28 years old and love hiking, running, learning, reading, and eating. My favorite movies are the Star Wars’ and my favorite book is Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. I have 3 older brothers and 1 younger sister. I’ve lived in Iowa, Colorado (mostly), Utah, Montana, and Alabama. I served my mission from Sep 2013 - Jan 2014 in the Provo MTC and St. George, UT Mission while visa waiting, and from Jan 2014 - Oct 2015 in the Santa Maria, Brazil Mission. I graduated from BYU in Chemical Engineering Dec 2020, and I currently work as a Manufacturing Engineer making fiberglass insulation for Owens Corning in Nephi, UT.
Kepi Hemuli
Malo e leilei! I’m Kepi Heimuli from the Payson YSA Bishopric! I’ve been in the ward for about 4 years serving as Executive Secretary, then Second Counselor and now as First Counselor in the Bishopric. I’m of Tongan heritage but grew up in Flushing, New York before getting married and moving to Utah after college. My wife Carma and I have 4 children, enjoy BBQing, serving in the Payson Utah temple as an ordinance worker, traveling the world and spending time with family. I served a full time mission to the Micronesia Guam mission and then finishing up in the Michigan Detroit mission. My wife and I occasionally cater when not working for Mi Rancherito and Zions Bank, respectively. I look forward getting to know all of you!
